TREMA architectes was founded in the end of 2015 by Gaëlle Cabessa and Nermine Skröder, both graduates from EPFL in 2008.

After developing projects together during university, they completed their knowledge and experience in several offices in Lausanne as well as working independently. Through those years, they collaborate in competitions, take part in district planification, plan new buildings and develop renovation and transformation projects including all steps from faisable study to complete construction of the work.
